This is a tribute to the beautiful and fiery Lola Montez, lover of Lizst, aristocrat of the Bavarian court, courtesan and showgirl. While touring Australia she horsewhipped a reviewer who dared to give her Spider Dance a bad review! Beware! Inspired by Miss Montez, Lola The Vamp brings you her interpretation of the Spider Dance. Clad in an intricate Victorian lace web, Lola removes herself and finds all layers of her Victorian costume covered in spiders! Shaking them loose, she ends the show in a flamenco-influenced ballet stamping fury! A Victoriana delight!
